Campground Review of Hidden Ridge RV Resort in Michigan

Howdy folks!

Time for a campground review of Hidden Ridge RV Resort in the state of Michigan. This was our VERY first campground in the state of Michigan and I must say, it spoiled us quite a bit as far as amenities go.

DOG FRIENDLY

To say this place was dog friendly would be an understatement. Throughout the park there were poo bag stations and a place to dump them after used.  Oh, I also forgot to mention this place did have a dog park as well…although we never did visit it due to the fact the entire resort is basically a dog park. 🙂 Do keep your dogs on leashes though!

PONDS

The ponds throughout this campground were another great amenity that we enjoyed while staying here. Although we didn’t have a campsite right next to it, they were a nice place to walk Blaze to and just enjoy the view.

INTERNET/CELL SIGNAL

If you are like us, cell signal and or wifi is very important to our travel as we work remotely while traveling. The good news, this campground has good Verizon/AT&T Signal where we could have worked off of either one. A cell booster does help in this area a bit, but might not be needed depending on you work.

Wifi was also surprisingly pretty good at this campground. However, the times we used the wifi were mainly just to check social media, but it was able to stream some short videos at lower quality with no issues whatsoever.

Bounce Pillow

Hidden Ridge RV Resort

Yea you heard me right. They have a BOUNCE PILLOW at this campground. I never did try this thing in fear of popping it or scaring the children, but it did look like kids were really enjoying bouncing up and down on this thing. (I would take the one and only photo of it looking half-deflated.)

Everything Else (Bounce Pillow got its own heading of course)

This campground also had a lot of other typical amenities found at RV resorts such as a pool, tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball, and some playgrounds for the kiddos.

Like I mentioned in the video, the sites here are very level and well…its pretty much like moving to a suburb outside of a city but with RVs instead of houses. We really enjoyed our stay here and it does take Passport America…which is always nice.

If you want to save some money, you may want to head down to the RV park just down the street, however I can’t speak much for it as we didn’t stay there.

Oh, and there is a Casino you can go check out. I managed to lose $5 and Deanna got her $2 back. Yea, we are big spenders.
