Clerbrook Golf & RV Resort Campground Review

Clerbrook Golf & RV Resort was our very first campground/RV Park where we stayed for an entire month and paid the monthly rate. I must say though, this was a great gated community to stay at and was relatively cheap considering the amenities!

Clerbrook Golf & RV Resort is located just off of 27 and Florida Turnpike in Central Florida (Near Clermont). This place really has all the amenities needed in order to live here full-time year round if you so wished.

There is pretty much 3 of everything at this RV park because there are 3 major sections. One section is primarily for RVers passing through the area, and the other two actually contain a mixture of homes and RV spots that can be purchased or rented out to folks.

The RV Park has 3 decent sized heated swimming pools, ponds you can fish in, clean bathhouses, and multiple laundry facilities throughout.

They also have a propane filling area, dump station, shuffleboard, small basketball court, and oh yea…a GIANT golf course in the middle of the park.

One unique part about this massive campground is that it has its own post office. We stayed around the holidays so they were a bit overloaded/under staffed, but they were always extremely nice to us and got us what we had delivered.

This was an incredibly beautiful area to stay in for a month and I think we chose wisely.

Discounts:

This is a Thousand Trails campground! Although we weren’t members yet, we are now and would have loved using 14 days of our stay here. Passport America is also used at this park if you have that membership. Good Sams is also good at this particular park.

Noise Level:

Not bad at all. You can hear a bit of road traffic in the distance, but we didn’t have any issues whatsoever.

Dog Friendly?

This park is very dog friendly. Blaze had a blast going for walks around this RV Park. The park does say there is a weight restriction on dogs, but we saw plenty of large dogs around with no issues.

Big Rig Friendly?

Yes. Although if you are parking between houses it can be a little tight, all the spots are very big rig friendly as far as length goes.

Cell Signal:

If you are digital nomads like we are, cell signal is crucial. Both AT&T and Verizon were producing great signal and we were both able to work. AT&T did struggle one day, but it bounced back after having whatever issue it was having.

Things to Do in the Area:

We traveled to a nearby state park called Lake Louisa State Park and we had a great time there. We also used this time to visit on of Disney’s parks just southwest of Orlando. Deciding on Epcot was an easy choice because I had always wanted to go but have never been.

Also, if you love donuts…hit up Donut King just southeast down 27. You will NOT regret it…unless you eat too much then maybe you will.
