King’s Holly Haven RV Park Campground Review

King’s Holly Haven RV Park was a PERFECT location in proximity to Great Smoky Mountains National park along with all of its attractions!

King’s Holly Haven RV Park has quite a few amenities throughout the campground. It has two fairly nice bathhouses that are kept clean and have bathroom stall doors and curtains for privacy.

There is also a small swimming pool that we decided to pass on due to the fact it was freakin’ cold most nights in the late fall.

They do have some laundry here at the campground as well for $1.50 per wash/dry cycles. Didn’t have any issues at all while using these.

All the sites we saw in the campground were pretty level with only minor adjustments needing to be made.

Discounts:

No additional discounts here that I am aware of.

Noise Level:

There were only a couple instances where the noise level increased enough to be bothersome. There was a game going on nearby that involved an announcer talking into a microphone along with music through loud speakers. Then the only other time we had issues was when a street cleaner came by as I was trying to record the video in the post above haha.

Other than that, it is a fairly peaceful campground with some friendly folks visiting.

Dog Friendly?

This park is very dog friendly with zero restrictions that I am aware of.  We also met a few greyhounds at this campground. Apparently greyhounds are more popular than we thought…or we are just looking for them. 🙂

They also have a couple dog walk areas to stretch out those puppy legs…and also a park nearby you can take the pups for a stroll.

Big Rig Friendly?

Definitely. They have both backups and pull throughs at this campground depending on what is available. We just had our 21ft travel trailer at the time, but definitely can fit in the big class As and 5th wheels where needed.

Cell Signal:

If you are digital nomads like we are, cell signal is crucial. Both AT&T and Verizon were producing great signal and we were both able to work easily without any issues.

Wifi:

Yes, and it was actually pretty dang fast. Might just be the fact that people were starting to head out for the season once we got there, but we had reliable internet via the wifi connection the entire time.

Things to Do in the Area:

Just kind of like around Mammoth Cave National Park, there is a TON of stuff to do in this area. So we did a ton while we were staying here for 2 weeks. This is also the first place we’ve ever stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed the break from moving the rig one weekend.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Do it.

We also hit up a local coaster just down the road called Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster. It was a freaking blast yet a bit expensive. Check out their website if you want more information on it!
